RICHARD REDDIE
Richard Reddie is project director of set all free, a Churches Together in England initiative established to commemorate the bicentenary of Abolition of the Slave Trade Act in 2007.
Prior to his current post, Richard worked as an Education Policy Officer for Race On The Agenda (ROTA), a social policy think-tank looking at issues affecting London’s Black Minority Ethnic Community. He also worked for the Evangelical Alliance within its Information Department for over six years.
Richard has a first degree in Spanish and Caribbean Studies and a Masters in Information Management. He has written for a number of Christian and secular publications, including Focus, Christianity, the Weekly Gleaner and the Voice. He is the author of Abolition! The struggle to abolish slavery in the British colonies, published by Lion Books priced £9.99.
