Her name is Aung San Suu Kyi. She has committed no crime. She is Burma's pro-democracy leader and Nobel Peace laureate. In 1990, despite being held under house arrest, her party went on to win a staggering 82% of the seats in parliament. The regime never recognized the results of the election. Currently facing trial in Burma, she was on arrested on May 14th 2009 just days before her house arrest was due to come to an end, because someone broke into her house. This is her story.
