Tom Rodwell worked at the top end of London Advertising for over 35 years. For the latter half of his career he got involved in voluntary work using cricket to help disadvantaged young people in London's Inner City.
Now a visiting Professor at London Metropolitan University, specialising in marketing and advertising, and part time Chief Executive of
Cricket for Change the world's leading community cricket charity, working mainly in London, but increasingly internationally, with recent projects in Panama, Israel, Cuba, Rwanda, Sri Lanka, Jamaica, Sierra Leone & Uganda.
Cricket for Change has recently been tasked by the International Cricket Council, world cricket's governing body,to undertake projects next year in Sri Lanka, Pakistan, India and Bangladesh, as a precursor to the next World Cup in the region in 2011.
These projects are intended to demonstrate the power of cricket to bring people together irrespective of any political issues between these nations.
