Lorna Campbell

 

Lorna has been a councillor since 2006 and is currently a councillor in Lambeth with current additional responsibility as Cabinet Member for Health and Care Services.

 

Lorna was involved in the development of Black Londoners Forum and served on executive for two years and on the council of London Civic Forum. She has also been Chair of Governors for a Lambeth Primary school. Her working background is in communications and customer services. She decided to become a councillor primarily to ensure that community involvement was promoted and that the voluntary sector was valued.

 

Lorna enjoys being able to influence change in policies; making a difference to local people’s lives no matter how small, meeting lots of people from a variety of backgrounds and learning about different cultures.
